Town Walk in Ani

This walking course leads you to the temples and other points of interest in Ani. The itinerary is about 4km long and takes about 4.5 hours in total, including the visits of the points of interest.
According to records in 1716, the Ani Mine was the largest copper mine in Japan. The town prospered with temples of various affiliations, built for miners coming from all over Japan. Akita Inland Railway takes you to Aniai, with magnificent views from train windows on the way and the time trip experience in the old mine of Ani.
