Armor of Kurosawa Jinbei

Kurosawa Jinbei was originally a vassal for the Onodera family, but later he worked a vassal for the Satake family. He was awarded a token of appreciation from Shogun Tokugawa Hidetada for helping the chief retainer in the Battle of Imafuku during the Winter Campaign of the Siege of Osaka (1614). This story was recorded in 1675 in red ink, on the side of the armor by Kurosawa Michiaki, the 4th generation head of the Kurosawa Family.
