The third lord of Kubota domain who reigned for 31 years
To help the domanial government recover from its financial difficulties, Yoshizumi carried out administrative reforms such as the abolition of “instructors”—dispatched to subordinate domains—and the introduction of postings for officials outside Kubota Castle town. Yoshizumi also encouraged research and administration of the archives, settled a territorial dispute with the Nambu domain, and allowed his brother to establish the Iki family with a grant of 20,000 koku per year.
