This sign was attached to the Yakuimon gate (a gate built to protect the house from arrow attacks). The period name “Bunka” (1804\u20141818) and the year “six (<\/span>roku<\/span><\/i>)” are written on the sign, indicating that the gate was constructed in 1809.<\/span><\/p>\n
