It is a <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">kobata<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (small flag), but is bigger than an ordinary <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">kobata<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, which was usually put on the back of an armor set or was raised to indicate the identity of a combat group.
