Oni-no-Kakurezato is a pyramid-like mass of enormous rocks. According to legend, demons diligently piled up these rocks and lived inside. That is why it is called the “hidden village of demons.” This place is also called Ishikura (“Stone Warehouse”). Here we can find an “inkstone of Kobo Daishi” and a stone inscription.
